General Representatives

C&S Executive / General Representative

Ryan Attard

I am a final year student completing a Bachelor of Laws (Hons.)/Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Politics and International Relations. I am a General Representative with C&S for the upcoming year, having been involved in clubs at Monash University since 2017 when I first joined the committee of the Monash International Affairs Society. It is my thought that clubs can act as a conduit for students who are struggling to adapt to tertiary studies or just want to get more out of their university experience. 2021 will be a challenging year for many clubs – a year of rebuilding our bases and returning to campus. I am always available for questions or any assistance you require so do not be a stranger.

C&S Executive / General Representative

Charlotte Barber

Hi everyone! My name is Charlotte and I’m in my third year of studying a Bachelor of Nutrition Science. I am one of your General Representatives on C&S in 2021, hailing from the mighty Monash Nutrition & Dietetics Society (MNDS) before this as President. I love making new Spotify playlists, spending time with my friends doing ‘wholesome’ activities and going for long walks. I would liken clubs to putting icing on cupcakes - icing makes cupcakes tastier, in the same way that clubs make the university experience so much better. There are many skills to be gained and friends to be made as both club leaders and members, and I’m excited to work on initiatives with the C&S team to make the most delicious icing we can for 2021!

C&S Executive / General Representative

Matthew Chipman

Hi! My name is Matthew and I am one of your C&S Gen Reps. I am in my fourth year of a Arts/Music double degree, and simply put, I am passionate about clubs. Currently in my third term at the Monash Music Students’ Society, I have been lucky enough to experience the successes and trials that go along with being a club OB. It is for this reason that I am excited to be a part of the C&S exec and help make life as an OB easier. An area that I am really passionate about is a more streamline off-campus approval system and incorporating more student performers into club events. I am always on the lookout for new music to add to my Spotify playlists, so please don’t hesitate to come share what you’re currently listening to! I look forward to eventually meeting everyone.

C&S Executive / General Representative

Katie Hambly

Hi I’m Katie (Kaytlin) Hambly, one of your new C&S General Representatives. I’m studying a Bachelor of Science majoring in Developmental Biology, hoping to continue into IVF research after completing my studies. I love travelling, especially Cruising and Disney. I am President of both the Monash Disney Society and Monash University Role Players, along with Vice President of the Monash Card Collective. I love being a part of Clubs at Monash because I enjoy bettering the student experience. I prioritise making events inclusive for everyone, and specifically students with disabilities, a cohort I am part of. Clubs are one of my biggest passions and I hope my role on C&S will help clubs be the best that they can be.

C&S Executive / General Representative

Joshua Pelach

My name is Josh, I am studying a double degree in Law/Arts and this is my second year as a general representative on C&S. I was also one of the MSA Welfare Officers this year and will be continuing in 2021 as MSA Secretary. I first got involved in clubs as a first year representative on Howitt Hall Society in its final year, where I came to appreciate not only how vital clubs can be to student experience, but just how much students tend to suffer in their absence. No matter their field, clubs and societies are the bedrock of support, services and advocacy for university students. Really looking forward to getting to know everyone!
