Hola! We're so excited for 2023 with many upcoming events for everyone to come together and experience Latin culture! This year, we are showcasing Latin food, hosting bar nights, trivia nights, practice conversation sessions for all Spanish levels, and more!
SLAC prides itself on being open and welcoming to all, and we seek to promote cultural understanding and diversity at Monash, to build an environment where students, regardless of their background, can share and have a good time exploring Latin culture!
We mainly focus on: 1. Social: having a safe space for students to interact and develop friendships, 2. Cultural: events involving food, dance, music, literature, 3. Academic: assisting students taking units/ majors in Spanish.
