We're so excited for 2024 with many upcoming events for everyone to come together and experience Latin culture!
This year, we are showcasing Latin food, hosting bar nights, trivia nights, conversation hangouts and classes for all Spanish levels (including never spoke it before), and more!
SLAC prides itself on being open and welcoming to all, and we seek to promote cultural understanding and diversity at Monash, to build an environment where students, regardless of their background, can share and have a good time exploring Latin culture!
We mainly focus on:
1. Social: having a safe space for students to interact and develop friendships
2. Cultural: events involving food, dance, music, literature
3. Academic: assisting students taking units/majors in Spanish.
We are keen to meet new members and hope to see everyone at our events, Hasta Luego!!
