Monash University Chess Club welcomes players of all levels and as well as those who are interested in learning to enjoy a game of chess and meet new people. Chess sessions are held weekly during semester on Monday's in the Law Building Room G10 and Wednesday's between 6:00pm - 8.30pm at Learning and Teaching Building 303. We also hold other social events throughout the year.
Our aim is to allow students from all backgrounds to participate in a common game by either teaching members the rules of chess, or facilitating engagement in casual games and competitive tournaments.
