The Nursing Students Society, Clayton (NSS) has successfully sought affiliation with MSA Clubs & Societies as a new Monash club.
The main purposes of the club are: - Provide students with the opportunity to develop their nursing skills through workshops, information sessions and other planned events. - Facilitate networking opportunities for employment, career development and professional connections with healthcare institutions. - Provide advocacy and voice to the School of Nursing and Midwifery and its units. - Create a united space for the nursing students based in the Monash Clayton campus. - Provide opportunities amongst students enrolled in nursing and nursing related degrees to interact and make connections on a social basis. - Promote self-care and awareness of the importance of immunisations for healthcare providers. We are currently finalising a number of administrative duties and this club will officially launch in Semester 1, 2025.
