About

The Monash Neurodivergent Minds Society (MNMS) is seeking affiliation with MSA Clubs & Societies as a new Monash club and we need your help by adding your name as a prospective member.

To indicate your interest in joining this club please select either MSA+ Membership or Non-MSA Membership (above).  There is no cost associated with 'joining' this club at this point.

The Inaugural General Meeting (IGM) of the Monash Neurodivergent Minds Society will take place on Friday 23 May at 2.00pm.  As part of the proceedings during the IGM, a committee will be elected to start running the club from this point forward.  To receive further information in relation to this meeting please join the club using the links above, the club will then contact you via email.

The main purposes of the club are:

  • To create a peer-led support network, fostering connections and collaboration with university and external services to help neurodiverse students succeed academically and socially.
  • To empower the neurodiverse student body by promoting their voice, advocating for their rights, and challenging stereotypes, while fostering a culture of respect and acceptance within the Monash community.
  • To provide a space for shared activities and discussions that enhance the sense of belonging, celebrate achievements, and promote social engagement, prioritizing authentic connections over social skills development.
  • To raise awareness and foster allyships across the university by collaborating with other clubs, promoting neurodiversity, and supporting intersectionality and inclusive behaviour standards.
