Filipino Association of Monash

The Filipino Association of Monash has successfully sought affiliation with MSA Clubs & Societies as a new Monash club.

The main purpose of the club is to advance the education of the students of Monash University by—

• fostering a supportive community for students, not only of Filipino background, but also for those interested in Filipino culture, by encouraging cultural awareness and understanding among those within the Monash community;
• promoting an interest in Filipino culture, traditions, and heritage among Monash students through social events that involve educational and cultural activities;
• providing a space for students to explore and discuss the Filipino-Australian experience through events, dialogue and shared learning; and
• supporting Filipino and non-Filipino students to create meaningful connections through shared cultural and academic interests. 

We are currently finalising a number of administrative duties and this club will officially launch in Semester 1, 2026.
