The Monash Slavic Society is seeking affiliation with MSA Clubs & Societies as a new Monash club and we need your help by adding your name as a prospective member.

To indicate your interest in joining this club please select either MSA+ Membership or Non-MSA Membership (above).  There is no cost associated with 'joining' this club at this point. 

The Inaugural General Meeting (IGM) of the Monash Slavic Society will take place on Thursday 9 October 2025 at 10.00am and all Monash University students are encouraged to come along.  As part of the proceedings during the IGM, a committee will be elected to start running the club from this point forward. 
Please note: to be eligible to vote and/or nominate for a committee position, you must be a Clayton enrolled student.

The main purpose of the club is to advance the education of the students of Monash University by—

• promoting an appreciation of Slavic culture, history, languages, and heritage;
• facilitating social, cultural, and educational events that explore the unity as well as the diversity of Slavic peoples;
• establishing and supporting the Slavic student community at Monash University;
• encouraging networking, friendships, and cultural exchange amongst students interested in Slavic culture; and
• promoting critical thinking, informed discussions and an understanding of contemporary social, political, and cultural issues affecting Slavic countries through an educational and informative approach.
