Criminology Student Association, Monash

The Monash Criminology Student Association is seeking affiliation with MSA Clubs & Societies as a new Monash club and we need your help by adding your name as a prospective member.

To indicate your interest in joining this club please select either an MSA+ Membership or Non-MSA Membership (above). 

Note:  there is no cost associated with 'joining' this club at this point. If sufficient expressions of interest to join this club are received by Thursday 23 April 2026, then the new club Applicant Group will contact you via email to invite you to the Inaugural General Meeting (IGM). At the IGM, a committee will be elected to start running the club from Semester 2.  

The main purpose of the club is to advance the education of the students of Monash University by—

1. Introducing and promoting the vast field of criminology to students, showcasing the different learning opportunities that criminology provides and developing sustained engagement with the discipline throughout their university journey.
2. Fostering an inclusive space for Monash Clayton criminology students to engage critically, connect with peers academically and collaborate in a knowledge sharing environment. 
3. Providing criminology tailored academic support for current students to help navigate their academic journey, including assessment management, research skills and overall course planning, assisting students to reach their full academic potential. 
4. Promoting student understanding of the multitude of post-graduate pathways and professional development opportunities, to ensure student confidence as they transition into career-ready graduates equipped to make an impact in the domain of criminology.
