Atmospheric, Geological and Environmental Society, Monash (MAGES)

The Monash Atmospheric, Geological and Environmental Society (MAGES) is seeking affiliation with MSA Clubs & Societies as a new Monash club and we need your help by adding your name as a prospective member.

To indicate your interest in joining this club please select either an MSA+ Membership or Non-MSA Membership (above). 

Note:  there is no cost associated with 'joining' this club at this point. If sufficient expressions of interest to join this club are received by Thursday 23 April 2026 , then the new club Applicant Group will contact you via email to invite you to the Inaugural General Meeting (IGM). At the IGM, a committee will be elected to start running the club from Semester 2.  

The main purpose of the club is to advance the education of the students of Monash University by—

1. Fostering a vibrant social environment that builds interconnection between students across the School of Earth, Atmosphere and Environment;
2. Encouraging students to share and explore interests in geology, geography, atmospheric and environmental sciences, to develop their knowledge and problem-solving abilities;
3. Facilitating professional networking between students in the School of Earth, Atmosphere and Environment and industry representatives in the abovementioned disciplines, to expand student career opportunities;
4. Providing an accessible forum for communication between students and the School of Earth, Atmosphere and Environment, as well as other related organisations.
