Atmospheric, Geological and Environmental Society, Monash (MAGES)

The Monash Atmospheric, Geological and Environmental Society (MAGES) has successfully sought affiliation with MSA Clubs & Societies as a new Monash club. 

We are currently finalising a number of administrative duties and this club will officially launch in Semester 2, 2026.

The Monash Atmospheric, Geological and Environmental Society is established to be a charity whose purpose is to advance the education of the students of Monash University by—

1. fostering a vibrant social environment that builds connections amongst students across the School of Earth, Atmosphere and Environment;
2. encouraging students to develop their interest, knowledge and problem-solving abilities in the areas of geology, geography, atmospheric and environmental sciences;
3. facilitating professional networking between students in the School of Earth, Atmosphere and Environment and industry representatives that aims to expand career opportunities and pathways; 
4. providing an accessible forum for communication between students and the School of Earth, Atmosphere and Environment, as well as other related organisations.
