Hindu Student Club, Monash (MHSC)

The Monash Hindu Student Society has successfully sought affiliation with MSA Clubs & Societies as a new Monash club. 

We are currently finalising a number of administrative duties and this club will officially launch in Semester 2, 2026.  To become a member of this club please return to this page in the week beginning 20 July 2026. 

The main purpose of the club is to advance the education of the students of Monash University by—

1. promoting an understanding of spirituality, mindfulness, and wellbeing by recognising and engaging with the longstanding principles of Hindu philosophy, values and traditions;
2. developing a connection to Hindu culture, heritage and traditions by providing opportunities for students to learn, engage and strengthen their sense of identity and belonging;
3. building an inclusive and supporting community that connects students, cultivates meaningful connections and student wellbeing, particularly for those away from home;
4. advocating for the interests of Hindu students to the University and other bodies;
5. encouraging informed discussions, respect and inclusion within the wider community; and 
6. fostering compassion, selfless service and social responsibility by providing opportunities for volunteering, community engagement, charitable initiatives and contributions to the broader community in the spirit of shared humanity.
