Hindu Student Society, Monash

The Monash Hindu Student Society is seeking affiliation with MSA Clubs & Societies as a new Monash club and we need your help by adding your name as a prospective member.

To indicate your interest in joining this club please select either an MSA+ Membership or Non-MSA Membership (above). 

Note:  there is no cost associated with 'joining' this club at this point. If sufficient expressions of interest to join this club are received by Thursday 23 April 2026, then the new club Applicant Group will contact you via email to invite you to the Inaugural General Meeting (IGM). At the IGM, a committee will be elected to start running the club from Semester 2.  

The main purpose of the club is to advance the education of the students of Monash University by—

1. Promoting an understanding of spirituality and mindfulness through practices like yoga, recognising its significance as an important aspect of Hindu philosophy.
2. Developing a connection to Hindu cultural practices through artistic events involving creative styles of art, music and tradition for students to be more drawn to creativity.
3. Building a community connecting hindu students that provides support and a sense of familiarity, especially those away from home.
4. Providing a forum for increasing knowledge about Hindu culture and history 
5. Fostering a feeling of compassion as a way of selfless living (seva bhaav) through volunteering or community service.
