Women in IT Monash (UnITy)

Women in IT Monash (UnITy) has successfully sought affiliation with MSA Clubs & Societies as a new Monash club.

We are currently finalising a number of administrative duties and this club will officially launch in Semester 2, 2026.  To become a member of this club please return to this page in the week beginning 20 July 2026. 

The Women in IT Monash (UnITy) is established to be a charity whose purpose is to advance the education of the students of Monash University by—

1. fostering a supportive community for women and non-binary students enrolled in the Faculty of Information Technology;
2. facilitating personal growth and career development for our members;
3. providing structured mentorship opportunities and guidance to help students navigate the unique challenges faced by underrepresented communities in IT;
4. providing appropriate resources that aim to increase the awareness, visibility and involvement of women and non-binary students within IT focused academic and professional spaces.
