Fashion Association, Monash (MFA)

The Monash Fashion Association is seeking affiliation with MSA Clubs & Societies as a new Monash club and we need your help by adding your name as a prospective member.  To indicate your interest in joining this club and to receive further information regarding the Inaugural General Meeting please select either MSA+ Membership or Non-MSA Membership (above). There is no cost associated with 'joining' this club at this point and your membership will continue until 19 March 2027. 

The Inaugural General Meeting (IGM) of the Monash Fashion Association will take place on Friday 9 October 2026 at 3.00pm, registrations will commence at 2.45pm.  All Monash University students are encouraged to come along. 

As part of the proceedings during the IGM, a committee will be elected to start running the club from this point forward.  To be eligible to vote and/or nominate for a committee position, you must be a Clayton enrolled student.  

The Monash Fashion Association will be established to be a charity whose purpose is to advance the education of the students of Monash University by— 

• fostering a community of students with an interest in fashion, encouraging the exchange of ideas and perspectives through collaboration and peer learning; 
• developing an understanding of the creative, cultural, ethical, and commercial dimensions of the global fashion industry beyond the academic curriculum;
• providing students with opportunities to develop professional skills, establish industry connections, and explore diverse career pathways across the fashion sector;
• providing students with an avenue to express fashion as a form of creativity, identity, and cultural communication; and
• raising an awareness and understanding of sustainable and ethical approaches within the fashion industry.
