Fashion Association, Monash (MFA)

The Monash Fashion Association has successfully sought affiliation with MSA Clubs & Societies as a new Monash club. 

We are currently finalising a number of administrative duties and the club will officially launch in Semester 1, 2027.

The Monash Fashion Association will be established to be a charity whose purpose is to advance the education of the students of Monash University by— 

• fostering a community of students with an interest in fashion, encouraging the exchange of ideas and perspectives through collaboration and peer learning; 
• developing an understanding of the creative, cultural, ethical, and commercial dimensions of the global fashion industry beyond the academic curriculum;
• providing students with opportunities to develop professional skills, establish industry connections, and explore diverse career pathways across the fashion sector;
• providing students with an avenue to express fashion as a form of creativity, identity, and cultural communication; and
• raising an awareness and understanding of sustainable and ethical approaches within the fashion industry.
